These photos are for Shirley. She can share them with Judy, Modesta and her family. They remind me of a wonderful day last May, towards the end of my stay with her in St. Augustine.
We went on a long drive south, to an area famous for its park and source of a river which emerges into the bottom of a lake. The park was used to shoot all the Tarzan films. I told you about it on my blog when I returned to Berlin.
I was lucky enough to photograph some flamingos there. I was surprised that they made a noise like an agitated Donald Duck, so you can imagine the noise when I came upon so many in Tierpark.
Nice to see so many and return to happy memories of my time in Florida. Thanks Shirley!
