Birgit's 6th Anniversary

Birgit Gast - 6th Anniversary 



Exactly six years ago, Friday morning, our dear Birgit died suddenly from a heart attack. Many of us still suffer from that loss even six years later.

Yesterday her sister Heike and I took flowers to her grave. Unfortunately, some family and friends we expected to be there were in fact absent! I find this difficult to understand but have to accept that they consider other things to be more important.


Heike and I later went to my local Czech restaurant, per Heike's wish, and had a splendid meal. Here are a couple of photographs for those who remember Birgit, but couldn't be there.
