Dahlia time in Berlin

Sunday 5th October. A selection of photos of the dahlia display in Britz Garden. You can see it was a rainy grey day but made brighter by the colour of the flowers. Dahlias come from the mid regions of Latin America and were introduced into Europe by a gardener in Madrid about 1670. I read that at the display yesterday!
