Hello, and welcome to my first Letter from Berlin blog.
I think you already know my name for you will have arrived here from my private web page, but just in case you arrived her by accident, my name is John O'Dwyer and on the right you can see the O'Dwyer family crest.
You are very welcome to add comment for I have created this blog to allow family and friends to exchange information, news and make comments. To add a comment is easy. I am doing it now from the blog you can see in your internet browser. Just click on 'leave your comment' and a new window will open so that you can write what you want.
You can add comments from the page you can see in your browser. Just click on 'commnets'.

Hi at all,
wir haben vor, uns am Sonnabend, d. 23.12.2006, wieder einmal am Grab von unserer Birgit Gast zu treffen, um dort ihrer zu gedenken. Birgit hatte immer ganz liebevoll zu Weihnachten alle Freunde und Verwandte eingeladen, um gemeinsam Weihnachten zu feiern - das war schon Tradition. Nun wollen wir uns mit Freunden, Verwandten und Bekannten sowie mit all jenen, die auch gerne kommen möchten, am Grab treffen. Die Uhrzeit steht noch nicht fest -> ich würde vielleicht 14:00 Uhr vorschlagen und mich über Eure Teilnahme freuen. Vielleicht gehen wir dann noch anschließend in die Karlshorster Treskowstuben. Meinungen und/oder Vorschläge sind herzlich willkommen.

Many thanks for your comments and contributions. It was nice to see you on the 23rd December and enjoy a beer and chat. Since then I have been to Marita's and she really is ill after her breast cancer operation. She was happy to hear about both of you and hopes to see you both at the next Treffening for Birgit in 2007!

It's me again. Just to show you that it works okay. It posted my last message without any problem.
I had an interesting day with 2 eltabb volunteers doing a mailing to 160 members. And I called Jan and had a nice talk to him. I hope to see him in Berlin next Saturday for he is flying to Spain on the 26th Dec. to be with Arancha.
